No more than 6 teaspoons (or 25 grams) of sugar per day max! (FYI, this amount is still double the 3 teaspoon limit recommended by other experts.) The WHO also published tips for identifying 10 foods that contain hidden sugars and that aren’t normally associated with sugar consumption.

5. Salad dressing
6. Breakfast cereals
7. Energy drinks
8. Canned/packaged fruits
9. Bottled ice tea
10. Ketchup
